INGREDIENTS
1 roll of Pillsbury pizza dough
8 slices of deli-style ham
10 slices of Genoa-style salami
12 slices of sandwich-style pepperoni
8 slices of provolone or mozzarella cheese (shredded cheese is also an option)
2 tablespoons of butter
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 teaspoons of freshly chopped parsley
3 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese
PREPARATION
1 .Combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and Parmesan cheese in a bowl. Set this mixture aside.
2 . Prepare your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
3 . Stretch out the pizza dough until it nearly covers your baking sheet.
4 . Begin layering your deli meats on the dough. Start with the ham, followed by the salami, and finally the pepperoni. Top this off with a layer of cheese.
5 . Roll the Stromboli lengthwise, ensuring the seam is well-sealed. Pinch and tuck any excess dough under the Stromboli. Make a few slits on the top with a serrated knife to allow steam to escape during baking.
6 . Brush the top of the Stromboli with the garlic butter mixture.
7 . Bake the Stromboli according to the instructions on the pizza dough packaging.
8 . While traditional Stromboli includes red sauce, I prefer to serve it on the side for dipping. Feel free to add it inside if you prefer!
9 . Bon Appétit!
