Ultimate Steak Stir-Fry Recipe

Ingredients:

1 lb flank steak
1 cup bell peppers, sliced
1 cup onions, sliced
1/2 cup matchstick carrots
1 cup broccoli florets
2 green onions, sliced into 1-inch pieces
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp cornstarch
2-3 tbsp vegetable oil
For the Sauce:
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
3 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp ginger
1 clove minced garlic

Instructions:

Marinate the Steak:
Thinly slice the flank steak across the grain.
In a bowl, combine the steak slices with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 2 tablespoons of cornstarch.
Let the mixture marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Prepare the Sauce:
In a separate bowl, mix together 1/2 cup soy sauce, red pepper flakes, brown sugar, ginger, and minced garlic.
Set the sauce aside.
Cook the Steak:
Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
Cook the steak slices in batches if necessary, frying each side for about 2 minutes to avoid overcrowding the pan.
Once cooked, remove the steak from the pan.
Cook the Vegetables:
In the same pan, add the bell peppers, onions, carrots, and broccoli florets.
Stir-fry the vegetables for 2-3 minutes.
Combine and Finish:
Return the steak to the pan and pour in the prepared sauce.
Stir everything together and cook for another minute.
Add the green onions just before serving.
