Quick bread in 20 minutes ideal recipe for those in a hurry

7 grams dried yeast (about 2 1/4 teaspoons).

50 milliliters milk (about 3 1/2 tablespoons).

250 milliliters hot water (about 1 cup plus 2 teaspoons).

6 grams sugar (about 1 3/4 teaspoons).

350 grams all-purpose flour (about 2 3/4 cups).

1/2 teaspoon salt.

15 grams room-temperature butter (about 1 tablespoon).

Step 1

In a large bowl, dissolve the sugar and dried yeast in the lukewarm water.

Step 2

Add the milk and mix well.

Step 3

Gradually add the sifted flour and salt to the liquid mixture, stirring continuously with a spatula until combined.

Step 4

Add the room-temperature butter and mix using your hands until a slightly sticky dough forms. If needed, add more flour to achieve the desired consistency.

Step 5

Knead the dough on a floured surface for 3 to 4 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Step 6

Cover the dough with a tea towel and let it rest in a warm spot for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.

Step 7

Divide the dough into four equal portions and roll each into a ball.

Step 8

Place the dough balls into butter-greased loaf pans.

Step 9

Cover again and let them rest in a warm spot for an additional 20 minutes.

Step 10

Preheat the oven to 374°F (190°C).

Step 11

Place a basin of water at the bottom of the oven to create steam, which will make the bread fluffier.

Step 12

Bake the loaves for 25 to 30 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and are fully cooked through.

Enjoy your warm, homemade quick bread!
