Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf


3 pounds 85% lean 15% fat ground beef

1 pound of country-style sausage

2 eggs

¾ cup of diced onion

⅓ cup of ketchup

1 ½ teaspoons of Morton’s Nature’s seasoning

½ teaspoon of garlic powder

1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce

½ teaspoon of pepper

½ teaspoon of salt

½ cup of breadcrumbs

1 cup of diced cheddar cheese

Bacon slices (enough to line 2 loaf pans)


Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients except for the bacon until well combined.

Line two loaf pans with bacon slices.

Divide the meat mixture evenly between the two loaf pans, pressing it down to form loaves.

Bake in the preheated oven for 90 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

Remove the meatloaves from the oven and immediately transfer them from the loaf pans to a cutting board.

Let the meatloaves rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Serve and enjoy! Optionally, save leftovers to make sandwiches the next day.
