Ingredients:
4 chicken breast fillets
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika (sweet or smoked paprika)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1/4 teaspoon chili leaves (optional, for a spicy kick)
1 teaspoon dried oregano or chopped fresh parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
Juice of half a lemon (optional, for marinating)
Instructions:
- Prepare the chicken:
Make small, shallow cuts if you want them to absorb the seasoning better. Place the steaks in a container or sealable bag. - Prepare the seasoning:
Mix together the olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, oregano, salt, pepper and chilli leaves (if using). If you prefer a fresh touch, add the lemon juice.
Rub the mixture over the chicken fillets, making sure to coat them evenly. If you can, let them marinate for at least 20-30 minutes (optional, but intensifies the flavour). - Preheat the Airfryer:
Preheat the Airfryer to 180°C (356°F) for 5 minutes. - Cook the steaks:
Place the chicken fillets in the Airfryer basket in a single layer, preventing them from overlapping.
Cook at 180°C for 10-12 minutes, turning them halfway through. The time may vary depending on the thickness of the steaks. Make sure the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F) to ensure they are cooked through. - Serve:
Remove the steaks and let them rest for 3-5 minutes before serving. Serve with salad, rice or steamed vegetables.
Enjoy juicy, flavorful chicken, quickly made in your Airfryer!
