Spicy Grilled New York Steak 😍😍
Enjoy a delicious and tender New York steak using this simple stovetop and oven method. Perfect for a relaxing meal without the need to fire up the grill!
Directions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). Heat a skillet or cast iron pan until it’s extremely hot.
Sear the Steak:
Sear the steak for 2 minutes on one side.
Use tongs to sear all the edges of the steak.
Place the steak on the unseared side and finish cooking in the oven.
Finish in the Oven:
Cook in the oven for about 7 minutes for medium, adjusting time based on the thickness of your steak.
Let the steak rest for at least 10 minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.
Grilling Method:
For a medium steak, grill on high heat for about 8-10 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 135-140°F.
For medium-well, finish cooking in the oven for an additional 3 minutes or until it reads 150°F.
All-Grill Method:
Cook the steak until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes on one side.
Turn it over and continue grilling for another 4-5 minutes.
