Slow Cooker Herb-Crusted Chicken Breast Recipe

Ingredients:

4–6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter

1 tsp dried thyme or rosemary

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 cup chicken broth

1 small onion, quartered

2 cloves garlic, smashed

Directions:

Season the Chicken

Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.

Rub each chicken breast with olive oil or melted butter.

In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Coat the chicken breasts evenly with the seasoning blend.

Prepare the Slow Cooker

Add the quartered onion and smashed garlic cloves to the bottom of the slow cooker.

Pour the chicken broth over the onions and garlic.

Arrange the seasoned chicken breasts on top.

Cook

Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours, or until the chicken’s internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Serve

Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing to lock in the juices.

Pair with sides like roasted vegetables, creamy mashed potatoes, or fluffy rice for a complete meal.
