Slow Cooker Chocolate Turtles
12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
6 ounces chocolate baking bar
24 ounces Rolo candies, unwrapped
Sprinkles (optional)
Directions:
Prepare the Slow Cooker:
Line your slow cooker with a large piece of parchment paper or use a slow cooker liner for easy cleanup.
Layer the Ingredients:
Add the chopped pecans to the bottom of the slow cooker in an even layer.
Break the almond bark and chocolate baking bar into smaller pieces and layer them on top of the pecans.
Add the semi-sweet chocolate chips on top of the almond bark and chocolate baking bar pieces.
Finally, add the unwrapped Rolo candies on top of the chocolate layers.
Cook the Turtles:
Cover the slow cooker and set it to low heat.
Cook for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, checking occasionally to ensure the chocolate is melting evenly.
Once the chocolate is melted, stir the mixture gently to combine all the ingredients.
Form the Turtles:
Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, forming small clusters.
If desired, add sprinkles on top of each cluster while the chocolate is still warm.
Set the Turtles:
Allow the chocolate turtles to cool and set at room temperature for at least 1 hour, or refrigerate for faster setting.
Serve:
Once the turtles are set, transfer them to an airtight container for storage.
Enjoy your decadent Slow Cooker Chocolate Turtles!
