Quick Fridge Pickled Vegetables

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of your favorite vegetables (such as carrots, cucumbers, bell
  • peppers, onions, or radishes)
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon celery seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • Directions:
  • Wash and slice your vegetables.
  • In a large bowl, combine the vinegar, water, sugar, salt, mustard seeds, celery seeds, turmeric powder, and red chili flakes.
  • Stir well to combine.
  • Add the vegetables to the bowl and stir to coat.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or up to 2 weeks.

  • Tips:
  • You can use any type of vinegar you like for this recipe. White vinegar, apple cider vinegar, or rice vinegar are all good options.
