Meat Lovers Pizza Tortellini

Ingredients:

12 oz tortellini pasta
½ lb Italian ground sausage
½ medium yellow onion, diced
1 lb ground beef

1 tbsp olive oil
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup cooked, chopped bacon
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Sliced pepperoni, to taste
24 oz pizza sauce
Instructions:

Cook the tortellini as per the instructions on the package. Once done, drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions and sauté until translucent.
Incorporate ground beef and sausage into the skillet, breaking apart the meat as it browns.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
Remove excess grease by draining, then return the meat mixture to the skillet and mix in the cooked bacon.
Pour in the pizza sauce and add the cooked tortellini. Stir well to combine all the ingredients and bring to a gentle simmer.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and arrange slices of pepperoni on top. Cover the skillet, turn off the heat, and allow the residual heat to melt the cheese until gooey and delicious.
