Heavenly Chicken and Mushroom Pasta with a Silky Cream Sauce

Ingredients:

2 chicken breasts, sliced into strips
8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
2 cups mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup chicken broth
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:

Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken strips and cook until golden brown and fully cooked, about 7–8 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
In the same skillet, add garlic and mushrooms, and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Let it reduce by half, about 3–4 minutes.
Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, then cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Add the cooked pasta and chicken to the skillet, tossing to combine. Season with salt and pepper.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
