Ingredients
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 cup whole milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan to ensure easy removal of the cake after baking.
Prepare the Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. This helps to evenly distribute the baking powder and salt throughout the flour.
Cream the Butter and Sugar: In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until the mixture is light and fluffy. This typically takes about 3-4 minutes on medium speed with an electric mixer.
Add the Eggs: Add the eggs to the butter and sugar mixture one at a time, beating well after each addition. This ensures that the eggs are fully incorporated and helps to add volume to the batter.
