Instructions:
Prepare the Pan
Use a small loaf pan or an air fryer-safe baking dish that fits in the air fryer basket.
Lightly grease it or line it with parchment paper.
Mix Wet Ingredients
In a bowl, combine the mashed bananas, sugar, melted butter (or oil), egg, and vanilla extract.
Mix until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Combine Ingredients
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
If adding mix-ins like chocolate chips or nuts, stir them in at this stage.
Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for about 3 minutes.
Pour the Batter
Pour the batter into the prepared pan, leaving about one-third of the pan empty to allow the bread to rise.
Bake
Place the pan in the air fryer basket and bake at 320°F (160°C) for 25–35 minutes.
Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center—it should come out clean. Adjust the time as needed based on your air fryer model.
Cool and Serve
Let the banana bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
