A rich and creamy cream cheese frosting with a hint of vanilla

Ingredients:

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp salt
2 tbsp heavy cream (or milk, for a lighter consistency)

Directions:

In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and cream cheese together with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
Add the powdered sugar, 1/2 cup at a time, beating on low speed until fully incorporated.
Add the vanilla extract, salt, and heavy cream, then beat the mixture on medium-high speed for 2-3 minutes, until light and fluffy.
Adjust the consistency by adding more heavy cream (or milk) for a thinner frosting or more powdered sugar for a thicker texture.
Spread generously over warm cinnamon rolls, or store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
