Air fryer best crispy roast potatoes

Ingredients:
4 medium-sized potatoes (russet or Yukon Gold work well)
1-2 tablespoons of olive oil or a healthy cooking spray (for a lower-calorie option)
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional seasonings (e.g., paprika, garlic powder, rosemary, thyme)
Instructions:
Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
Prep the Potatoes: Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly. You can peel them if you prefer, but leaving the skins on adds more nutrients and fiber. Cut the potatoes into bite-sized chunks or wedges.
Season: In a large bowl, toss the potato chunks with olive oil or use a cooking spray to lightly coat them. Season with salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings you prefer. Make sure the potatoes are evenly coated.
Air Fry: Place the seasoned potato chunks in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; you may need to cook them in batches. This ensures even cooking and maximum crispiness.
Cook: Cook the potatoes in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes. Shake the basket or use tongs to flip the potatoes every 5-7 minutes to ensure even cooking. The cooking time may vary depending on the size of your potato chunks and your air fryer model. They are done when they are golden brown and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Serve: Once cooked to your desired level of crispiness, remove the potatoes from the air fryer and serve immediately. You can garnish them with fresh herbs or additional seasonings if desired.
