Mushroom and Cheese Stuffed Chicken in Garlic Butter Sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic and mushrooms until soft and golden, about 5 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and thyme.
Remove from heat and mix in cream cheese and mozzarella until melted and smooth.
Cut a pocket in each chicken breast and stuff with the mushroom mixture. Secure with toothpicks.
Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
