Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork (or substitute with ground turkey)
1 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
1 small onion, finely diced
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup milk
1 large egg
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, mushrooms, onion, Swiss cheese, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Mix ingredients until well combined, but don’t overwork the meat mixture.
Shape the mixture into a loaf and place in a baking dish.
Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the meatloaf is fully cooked and the top is golden brown.
Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Notes:
Serve with mashed potatoes or a side of green beans for a complete meal.
