Ingredients:
- 1 kg carrots
- 20 cl light cream
- 2 eggs
- 1 onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 50 g grated cheese (optional)
- Salt and pepper
- Nutmeg
- Chopped parsley to garnish
🥣 Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Peel and cut the carrots into slices.
- Steam or boil the carrots until tender.
- Thinly slice the onion and chop the garlic.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with the light cream, salt, pepper and a pinch of nutmeg.
- Mix the cooked carrots with the onion, garlic and egg mixture.
- Pour everything into a gratin dish. Sprinkle with grated cheese if desired.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
