Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter chips
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar, followed by the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish.
In a microwave-safe bowl, soften the peanut butter for about 20-30 seconds until it’s easy to spread. Spread the peanut butter evenly over the brownie batter in the baking dish.
Pour the remaining brownie batter over the peanut butter layer, spreading it evenly.
Sprinkle the chocolate chips and peanut butter chips over the top.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.
