Crispy, juicy, and coated in the most addictive honey butter garlic glaze
🛒 Ingredients:
For the Chicken Tenders:
1 lb (450g) chicken tenders
1 cup buttermilk (or 1 cup milk + 1 tbsp vinegar/lemon juice)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
Cooking spray or a little oil (for air frying)
For the Honey Butter Garlic Glaze:
¼ cup honey
3 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp soy sauce
Pinch of chili flakes (optional for heat)
👩🍳 Directions:
Marinate:
Soak chicken tenders in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for extra tenderness).
Prep the Coating:
In a shallow bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Coat the Chicken:
Remove tenders from buttermilk, shake off excess, and dredge in the seasoned flour mixture. Press lightly to coat well.
Air Fry:
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Lightly spray both the basket and tenders with oil. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
Make the Glaze:
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and chili flakes. Simmer for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.
Glaze & Serve:
Toss the hot chicken tenders in the honey butter garlic glaze until well coated. Serve immediately!
